Description:	Nice wood box contains the famous Soma cube, the best puzzle ever devised; 7 pieces, all different, will fit back into the cube in 240 different ways! Invented by Danish mathmatician Piet Hein in 1936. Also makes hundreds of other 3-D shapes. Do an internet search on "Soma Cube" and check out the web sites dedicated to this puzzle. Pretty amazing. Highly recommmended for ages 6 - 96. Kids really seem to enjoy it, and it develops 3 dimensional thinking skills in all ages (something we don't get a chance to do much with 2-D computer and TV screens). Great quality in this piece. We have upgraded our instruction sheets to include 60 3-D shapes that can be made (with solutions), along with recommended websites that are dedicted to this puzzle that will give you many more shapes, plus math theory, history and more.
